I transitioned from a successful 23-year career as an LPGA golf professional to pursue my passion of art. I am an abstract expressionist and photographer.

My journey as an artist started 7 years ago and continues to evolve.

I have remained committed to the daily process of art and the discoveries of technical improvements. Every piece I create teaches me about opportunities to enhance my technique. My focus on every detail of each painting continues to drive me to strive for the optimal results that I can achieve by a fearless mindset. One of the most exciting things for me in the process of self-expression is that every creation leads to a path of unlimited potential.

I have experimented with different mediums and techniques on canvas, acrylic and wood panels. Resin has become my favorite medium to create with. It’s characteristics and fluidity pose a dynamic medium which challenges me to perform with an edge of pressure, I find that to be very inspiring! These challenges have pushed me through my process of evolution the most. This taps into my competitive past as an LPGA golf professional. I prepare mentally for each individual piece of artwork, as I did prior to every competitive game. When I start a piece, the resin magically chooses its direction and I have to adjust accordingly to allow the process to lead, just as the game unfolded. Each painting results in a unique one-of-a-kind expression.

I was born in Oxford, Alabama. Northern California has been my home since 1994. In my early life, I was drawn to athletics. I was awarded scholarships in both basketball and softball in Northern Alabama. After an injury, I was introduced to the game of golf. I excelled quickly and went on to attend Methodist College to play in their golf program. I was fortunate to be part of 3 National Championships and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Professional Golf Management.
